WebChart EHR is ONC-ACB and EPCS certified by Drummond Group

WebChart EHR version 8.4 has been tested and certified under the Drummond Group's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program. This EHR software is compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Drummond Group's ONC-ACB certification program certifies that EHRs meet the criteria for either eligible provider or hospital technology. WebChart EHR version 8.4 may be used to qualify for government incentives per the HITECH Act. In addition, WebChart is EPCS certified — ensuring e-prescribing of controlled substances is within the full compliance of DEA requirements.


This Complete EHR is 2015 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Drummond Group is accredited by ANSI and approved by ONC for the ONC Health IT Certification Program to certify Health IT Module(s) and Certification of other types of Health IT for which the Secretary has adopted certification criteria under Subpart C of 45 CFR.

    Costs and limitations

    WebChart EHR version 8.4 does not require but most clients seek assistance in the form of one-time implementation fees for consulting services, set-up configuration and customization. One-time Integration fees may apply to establish an interface with a health information exchange, registry, public health agency, laboratory, modality/DICOM, or other health IT application. These one-time fees may apply to the following measures:

    • Clinical decision support
    • Image results
    • Patient-specific education resources
    • Incorporation of laboratory tests and values/results
    • View, download and transmit to a 3rd party
    • Transmission to public health agencies — syndromic surveillance

    Ongoing licensing and service fees for use of the solution include the following: SaaS fees, redundant hosting, backups, maintenance, upgrades and support. These fees are generally billed monthly on a per-provider basis. Additional licensing fees may apply for the use of Healthwise for patient-specific education resources and are generally billed monthly on a per-provider basis. Additional licensing fees may apply for the use of First Databank medication and allergies knowledgebase and alerts and are generally billed monthly on a per-provider basis. Additional support fees may apply for Direct messaging services, including HISP domain fees that may be billed monthly or annually on a per client basis. Additional licensing fees may apply for the use of the NoMoreClipboard co-brand patient portal and are generally billed monthly on a per-provider basis. Clients are required to sign a software license agreement, with a typical term of three years.
